December 30th, 2001Sunday was a quiet day. We mostly played games and rested while we waited for Mikey to come home with Mike and Deb from the hospital. They spent the previous night and most of the day with Mikey, and he got his midicine dose at 5:30pm and was discharged. The group arrived home around 7:30pm. It's nice to have them all home again. Mikey had a nurse come by around 9:30pm to help administer his first at-home dose of the anti-biotic, which must be fed through his port using a special needle that stays embedded in his chest all the time. Michele got the kids playing Monopoly again - She attempts to extract revenge for losing the previous night...It didn't work...
While Grandma shares her chair with her sweetest grandkids, and, er, well, Tigger too....
Some of the boys just played computers -
We had Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup for dinner and Banana pudding for dessert - it was excellent!
