December 28th, 2001

The news of the day is - Mikey did have an infection in his port, but the doctors have been able to treat it with anitibiotics.  We are awaiting word today to see if he will be coming home this afternoon.  It may not be until tomorrow, we'll see.

While Mike and Deb spent the day at the hospital, we spent the day just hanging out with the kids.

The kids played outside, and Jon and David had the chance to take their bikes across the street
and ride in the field.  We could still see them from the house -

While they were riding bikes, the rest of us had a bubble blowing contest with the bubbles that Grandma bought at the store:

Brandon had to stop because he got a bubble in his mouth!

I took a short 10-second movie of the contest!

Generally they just played outside, then we all went for a bike ride later that day.

That evening, Michele cooked Chicken for everyone, then we all sat down for a game of Pictionary.
