Michele spent months preparing the new house for Christmas. Everything was meticulously perfect.
The table was set using the placemats that Debbie made from scratch. They are two-sided Christmas placemats.
Turkey is still cooking! We started it in the morning, and it was not finished until 8:00 pm that night.
We gobbled a 24 1/2 Lb Turkey with mashed potatos, World-Famous stuffing,
Sweet potatos, cranberries,
The kids all got sparkling apple cider in a big-person's glass too. Afterwards, we all had pumpkin pie smothered in whipped cream. Michele is telling the John Wolf story of whipped cream and Pumpkin pie. John likes a little pie with his whipped cream, and made the statement "I don't want to see any pumpkin showing..." so we dumped a whole tub on top of the pie slice, and served it up! He ate it all! BTW, John is my sister's husband.
Anyway we had a great day, topped off with a wonderful dinner. And that's all for Christmas dinner...more tomorrow. |
